The audioguided tour
The Audioguided tour is available everyday from April 1st to November 5th:
This is a way for you to discover the castle at your leisure.
Audioguides are available in French, English, Spanish and Italian.
The path is the same as the guided tour.
The self-guided tour
The self-guided tour is available everyday from April 1st to November 5th:
Come discover the castle, its story, and that of its inhabitants at your own pace, armed with a booklet.
The path is the same as the guided tour’s.
Booklets are available in French, English, Spanish and Italian.
The guided tour
The guided tour is available every day, from April 1st to November 5th:
– From April 1st to June 30th: 11am, 2pm, 3:15pm, 4:30pm
– From July 1st to August 31th : 10am, 11:15am, 2pm, 3:15pm, 4:30pm, 5pm
– From September 1st to November 6th: 11am, 2pm, 3:15pm, 4:30pm
If the tour is in French, you will be given a booklet available in English, Spanish and Italian. The tour might occassionaly be in English.
The guided tour with wine-testing
The guided tour with wine-testing is available everyday at 11.15am from July 1st to August 31st:
Enjoy the historical guided tour of the castle, followed by a degustation of Bourgueil wine offered in the cellars to make you discover our local terroir.
If the tour is in French, you will be given a booklet available in English, Spanish and Italian. The tour might occasionaly be in English.
The candlelight guided tour by night
The Candlelight guided tour is available every Tuesday from July 12th to August 22nd:
Come discover the Château de Gizeux by night in the light of candles. The inhabitants welcome you in period costumes.
